The images on Steel I – V represent the patina on the interior structure of works of art by sculptor John Henry.    A John Henry pillow !!!

“Growing up in the studios of sculptors, photographers, printmakers and painters allowed me develop an interest in, not only art, but more specifically the ways in which light transforms surface and form.  I am always drawn to structures crafted by human hands and the myriad ways that altering light changes my perception of their physical presence… in the absence of light, do they even exist?”   

Patina in this case refers to oxidation process on bare steel.

John Henry is an American sculptor best known for his large scale outdoor works.
